📝 The Project
Certus Commercial was instructed to carry out Commercial EPC assessments for the retail showroom and workshop buildings at Chichester Caravans in Nutbourne, Chichester. The assessments were required as part of the client's property sale, ensuring valid EPC certificates were in place before marketing the premises.
The site comprised a 355 m² retail showroom with first-floor offices, together with a separate 173 m² workshop. Due to the building's unusual layout, extensive glazed frontage and sloping glazed roof sections, additional measurements were required to accurately capture the property's construction and thermal performance.
Following the site survey, both buildings were modelled using SBEM software before the assessments were reviewed and lodged on the Government's Commercial EPC Register.
